Aberfest is an umbrella term for all the community street events put on in Abertillery by a band of volunteers collectively known as Ffrindiau Tyleri ( which means Friends of Tillery in English). Tyleri/Tillery rhymes with Fairy in case you were wondering. We put on events throughout the year- Springfest around Easter, Aberfest is usually in June, Scare in the Square is on Halloween and the year bows out with Winterfest when Father Christmas comes along to join in the fun!
